What's your go-to snowmobile boot?

Looking to get new boots this year. Currently I have a pair of Tobe boots that leak like crazy. It's the 2nd pair I've had that leaked, first pair got warrantied but I don't even want to try another warranty pair from them so looking at other options.

Mainly curious about how the newer Klim and 509 boots have been holding up for people? Specifically the Adrenaline Pro S GTX Boa and the Raid double Boas.

I like the simplicity of the boa system, but on the Tobe boots, the boa wires cut into the tongue of the boot which may have contributed to the leaking. Does that happen on the Klim and 509 Boa boots?

Also open to other brands like Fly, maybe even FXR. I just want something that I don't need to worry about. I like the 400g-600g insulation level, any more and my feet sweat which makes things worse.

the last few years I have been riding with the KLIM Klutch GTX BOA Boot.
Have had good performance out of the boot and not issues to speak of.

Been thinking of trying out the new Adrenaline Pro S1K GTX Boa Boot this season though.

I have MIXED feelings about the MOLDED TONGUE though.
Make absolutely sure you try them on and WEAR them a bit to be certain the Molded Tongue FITS the top of your foot "well" and is comfortable to stand in.

I bought some non-current KLIM Klutch GTX Boas last year. These are the first snowmobile specific boots I've owned. Always been in Cabelas pac boots. Latest of which were lightweight and had boa laces. All I can say is I wish I'd have bought them sooner. It's difficult for me to buy shoes/boots. I normally wear cowboy boots size 11. Tennis shoes are 13. Some end up 12s. I bought the 13 in these KLIMs and am glad I did 12 would have been too small.

plenty of quality boot makers out there that work just as well if not better than typical sledder brands. same goes for any other cold weather gear.

I've had two pairs of the Klim Adrenaline Pro GTX Boa. First pair lasted about 6 seasons before they started leaking around the toe. The first 4 seasons on them consisted of 3-6 days on the snow per season. Season 5 was around 13 days, and the final season was probably 35 days on the snow. Still have the pair and use them for snowblowing the driveway.

Second pair I've put two seasons on, first around 35 days on the snow, second season around 6 days. Broke a BOA cable the first season. The cable frayed and broke in the guide just above the KLIM logo. Warranty replacement via BOA was stupid easy, and cable replacement was simple. The repair kit they sent actually has two cables and two dials, so I have a spare now.

I preferred the loop for snowpants on the first pair of the Klim boots as it was further up the tongue of the boot (towards my leg(. The location of the loop now is more difficult to stretch the elastic snowpants strap through, with the loop being closer to the toe.

My primary riding partner has 8 seasons on his Klim Adrenaline Pro GTX Boa's, with more days on the snow than me, and he's had no issues with his. The sole rubber was starting to get chewed up on his (still didn't leak), so he preemptively replaced them last year with some non-currents of the same model, same size. He ended up selling the new pair because they were noticeably wider and his feet would float in them. He then went with the 509 Raid Double BOAs and is happy with how they fit his narrow feet. They're a very stiff boot.

I love the BOA system and wouldn't own a boot without it. I just can't bring myself to get a single BOA boot like the Klutch GTX. I really like the second BOA dial, and being able to snug up the sides of the boot for more ankle support. When it comes time for me to replace/upgrade I'll probably try the Fly Inversions. Still double BOA, but seem to be a bit more flexible than others, so easier to walk and maneuver in. Don't know anyone who has tried Fly boots, but I've been very happy with my other Fly gear (monosuit and helmet).

I've been wearing FXR dual boa boots because they're super comfy for me but they started leaking at the base of the tongue after a season or 2. So, was gonna get some Klim Adrenaline boots this season but they fit terrible. Pressure point on the top of the toes. Felt a bit cheap to me too, like 509 boots.

So, wasn't gonna go back to FXR, due to the leaking, but I tried on the Elevation dual boa and they just fit like a glove. So comfy. They have a half gaiter built in, so hoping that'll fix the leaking issue. Not too sure about the zipper on the gaiter lasting, but I talked to 2 different guys at Haydays that have used them and they said they've had no issues. We'll find out...

I’ve been using Klim for the last 15 years now. I’m currently using the Klim Adrenaline Pro GTX Boa. I’m sure there are other great boots out there for a little less and work great.
But they have never let me down. Plus the warranty is awesome. They have always stood behind their product.

I have had to replace once or twice and they have always been awesome to work with. I’m sure you could use a little cheaper boot but to me the quality and customer service they provide is worth it.

The two boa system is amazing as well. Feet never get wet or cold. I won’t be switching anytime soon.

Klim adrenaline, many years (8) on the last pair before running board damage to the sole and leakage forced a replacement with .......you guessed it Klim adrenaline gtx ,. Not a fan of the boa on boots just preference i guess . Had a pair of their extreme model ,to bulky like a damn snowboard boot . Feet never cold just wear liner socks most days (Klim also) and heavier on colder longer days !!

if on a budget the Korker boots are great, very warm! and dry. replaceable soles, buddy and I both like them. get ya a trick sled part with the savings

AND
They are WARM which is such a nice change from having COLD TOES

I have a buddy that has worn Muck boots for years.
I'm tired of fighting leaks so I ordered a pair of Mucks myself. I'm curious as to how they will wear from the boards.

Thanks everyone. Leaning toward the klims for sure, just need to try them on to make sure they're comfortable.

My father in law uses the Korkers and he loves them, but they felt really bulky to me when I tried his on. Muck boots are heavy and not very comfortable. Waterproof and warm, but I'd go back to Sorels before I wore Muck boots for riding sleds.

I have struggled to find good boots and have heard mixed review on basically all the brands. I bought skidoo Tec+ boots because when I used to wear their helium 50 gear it held up better than any of the other brands I have tried. They aren't real comfortable but after a season they don't leak yet which is more than I can say for the other boots I've used over the last ten or so years.

I have these boots and the gator is really good but I had one of the zippers start to pull apart but just put some glue on it as I never had to open them anyway, to get my foot in/out. These did not leak like my 2 previous pairs like what you experienced. The are a bulky boot though.

My go-to snowmobile boot is the Klim Adrenaline GTX Boot. The Gore-Tex lining keeps my feet dry, while the insulation ensures they stay warm without being too bulky. Plus, the boot's traction and support are fantastic for navigating snowy terrains, giving me the confidence I need on the trails.

I tried on several pair of both 509 and Klim, I went with the Klim Adrenaline Pro S GTX Boa model.

Almost left there with a new Cat 858 SnoPro too but luckily I was able to resist the urge to spontaneously drop $19k. Got a line on one to demo for a day though this upcoming season.
