whats wrong with my truck???

2004 chevy crew cab duramax 4x4... got a low pitched squeel when i turn left.. doesnt sound like worn brake pads.. kinda weird, never heard it before. like alow pitched squeel or whine..

any ideas?

Brakes are the first thought. Does it stop if you put on the brake while turning?

front hub bearing or outer CV joint. If not the brakes, or grit in the brake pads--maybe a caliper starting to stick as well. Start with the basics first.

I have a 06 GMC Duramax and I had the same issue. Sounds like a wheel bearing to me................ Mine was. Drivers side.

chances are the noise is the wheel bearing/hub assembly.

i had a feeling that was gonna be the consensus.. i already had 1 of those replaced.. maybe both, cant remember..
