Bought new Skinz bars and rsi bar ends. Also got there ogi 8" grips. The insides are very sticky and im wondering what to use to get them on so they will stay on.
Is soapy water the best or is there a better way?

I replaced the grips on my Escape with new SLP foam type. Here's where everyone will probably laugh, I used alcohol based "hair gel" on warm grips to install them. After setting for 24 hours you'd have to cut them off to remove them. Rode all last season and never had a grip slip.

Use air!!!! no im not crazy yes it works blow air in the inside part of the grip and use the other hand to slide it on! No grip slip and no wait time!!

Air is the only way! Helps to have another person there to squirt air in the opposite side of the bars while you slip the grip on, switch sides and repeat.

i always use spray paint, spray it on the inside of the grip pretty generously let if dry for about 5-10 seconds and slide the grip on, goes on easy every time and you will have to cut them off to get them off

weather stripping adhesive

3m,this last year i did the air and paint which always "had" worked in the past but for some reason didnt think it was the bar end turns.third time got it and the new warmers still work

Ohh yea this is easy spray paint is the best.

Since the BMX day's I've used air but instead of 3M I use silicone it will stick better then the 3M when heated by the grip heater.

most times I use brakleen..works great and they are stuck good..just have to be quick cause they dry fast..........

I've been using the ScottUsa MotoX grips for about 8 years now...I have never linked anything more than them.

You need our NEW snowmobile specific Grip Glue. Our glue will not breakdown when the heaters get hot. Works great and will act as a lube when installing the 8" grips. Retail for $9.95.
Thank you,

I usually use air or cut very carfully as I peel it back. Then use hairspray to get them back on.
