whats the best waybto get more power for my 06 crf 450

Unless your James Stewart you don't need more Jam than a stock 450. I can name a few that I bet could beat you on a 125 and if so that means you aint ridding it to the max.

How much do you want to spend? Start with the easy things, pipe, carb mods, make sure set up is spot on. From there…. different head, cam, cylinder work, ignition, ditch the stock sprocket and chain if you haven’t already, spend a lot of money on titanium parts, run race fuel…..the list can go on if you have the coin.

Not sure about the CRF 450, but on my sport quad just doing intake, exhaust, and corresponding rejet made a very noticable difference. Relatively inexpensive and dont have to mess with engine internals which is pretty spendy on 4 strokes. Cant imagine its much different for the CRF 450's.

Ditch the honda and buy a Yamaha 450!! J/k
I would check out thumpertalk they have alot of good and free yes I said FREE mods that can be done to bikes. As far as the titanium parts they are not worth the money IMO.

Its def much cheaper to loose a few pounds at the gym that start sticking ti everywhere most ti parts arent going to add hp....but, making rotational parts out of lighter materials offers gains. I think stewart ran some ti hubs and sprockets last year, maybe even rims....but that kid would be fast on a stock bike!

hey you leave the 1 2 and 5s alone now.

Really dude, JS don't even need all the power of a 450. The King said it best when he said none of the pros could use all the power a 450 can make. It's all in how ya ride what ya have. A thumper just makes ya lazy and lets you get away with more.
