I'm kinda surprised you sprayed over the bed bolts. But as long as you never have to take it off or adjust it I guess it won't be a problem.

It was an option, the place I went to said they usually dont pull them unless the customer requests it and I see no reason I would ever need it off so I told em to just spray em in...... I haven't pulled the bed off my '94 as long as I have owned it (10 years) so I saw no reason to have them standing out. The truck already has a gooseneck hitch installed (that I dont even need) so I didnt see the advantage to having them pull em.

I have had Bullhide in two trucks and have Superliner in my current one. I like the Bullhide better as it seemed to have more of a rubber non slick feel to it as opposed to a plastic slippery feel. When the Bullhide got wet it, things didn't slip around. The Superliner is an ice rink when wet.

I had an Arma put in my GMC about 3 years ago, still looks great! only problems i have had is when sliding the sled out the back the carbides have taken a couple little chunks out, other than that is still looks like new. I use a sled deck also and it hasn't done anything to the liner taking it in and out 10+ times a year. When I was looking i looked at all the different brands, IMO, Rhino was not good, faded after about a year or two and just didn't hold up. Line-X and Arma are the exact same from what I understood only difference I could find was here in MN Line-X was about $700 and Arma was $400 when I had mine done, very happy with the Arma and would get it done again, just try not to slide sharp carbides on it!

Thread resurrection lol.....

Well 1 year later and I am still happy with the Bullhide liner. It does NOT let anything slide around on it at all which is nice when driving. Also very little wear from loading/unloading the sled deck multiple times last season and it stayed in place pretty good once tightened down. The only thing I don't like is the fact that it is a little soft so I am careful not to slide anything sharp on it such as a sled or heavy sharp metal objects that I wouldn't think twice about with a drop-in liner. The couple times I have been worried about gouging into it I simply put a sheet of plywood down and no worries. :D

I bought a stall matt at the local feed store to put in my bed. It is about 3/4" thick rubber matt and pretty much bomb proof. It is 6' long 4' wide and fit my 6.5' bed perfect. For an 8' bed I would get two and cut them into two 4' sections. Carbides whatever over 5 years has held up well. I am going to get a spray in liner soon as the wheel wells have gotten some dings and are starting to look bad. After I spray in the liner I am going to put the matt back in. I think is was about $40-$45. Cheap alternative for a cheap f#$%k@r like me or just armor for a bed with a liner in it. I think you could drop an anvil on the bed from 4 feet up and not dent the bed.:face-icon-small-win

I was in the industry for 7 years. I managed a line x shop, and owned a shop that installed full metal jacket liners. I actually sprayed a large amount of liners for jetjohnso, and his and his brothers trailers when I worked for line x.

Line x, arma, full metal jacket are hot processes. So they are heated then applied. A stronger material in my opinion. Rhino, bull hide, vortex are all cold process. They stay much softer and tear easier.

The full metal jacket is the strongest stuff I have ever seen, and the big wigs at line x know it. Line x just has a huge name so they don't worry about the lil guys to much. If you can find it thats what I would go with, runner up would be line x.

Also the more the box is sanded the better the liner adheres. Find a shop that takes their time.
