So after doing a search and not coming up with much, I'd like to hear what you think the best brand of spray in liner is.

I know a few of the basic brands that include;

Rhino
Linex
Arma-coatings
Bullhide

Not sure of any other big/good names

Looking for something just a little soft so the sled deck and other things wont slide around on it and may help with minor dent protection, but most importantly, wont peel up over time.

My boss at work has a bullhide in his company work truck and I like the consistency of that material...

Any thoughts on this?

When I was looking at other trucks before getting mine sprayed, I noticed that the Rhino lining turned a gray color and lost some of it's anti-skid properties. I ended up going with Permatech liner. I've had it for 9 years now on my 01 Silverado and it is still black, tacky anti-skid surface is still like new, and it still looks great.

I only keep my trucks about 5 years and have used LineX as that is what the local installer shops use. I think if the bed is prepped correctly so there is good adhesion most liner products should hold up pretty well. After 5 years mine starts to lose some of the sparkle but with a good brushing with water and dish washing soap it still cleans up nice. I don't haul a lot of heavy stuff, but haven't dented the beds yet.

I voted Line X, I've had it in a couple trucks with good results and have a Rhino in my current that was done in october and the Rhino faded pretty bad after just this summer.

WE'VE USED IT ALL OVER THE YEARS

from one who has sold a lot of enclosed trailers, (and open) Line X seems to hold up the best, I have had it on all our trailers and way to many customers to count. It seems to last for ever and holds up great even to the simmons skis with 4 carbides on them. My personal 24' Triton is a great testimony to line X, any questions let me know.dan

just got the cheapo stuff from napa, its called rhino lining

put it in the truck and its great so far, wouldnt do it any other way, it might not be the best but its an awesome option for 100 bucks

just had my enclosed sprayed at an autobody shop. not sure what kind it is but it's about a 1/8"-1/4" thick and looks good. hoping it stands up.

Had Rhino in my GMC for 14 years and it held up well. It did not like the direct sunlight and could really tell a difference after two years with a toolbox over part of it. I put a shell on after the first two years so sun was a non-issue from there on. I lost one chunk off the bottom of the tailgate after dropping something...that was at about 12 years.

I just had Line-X put in my F150 8 months ago and so far it's taken two pretty hard drops with sharp edges and left no marks. Had Line-X put in because I had gotten some good references from the Boise dealer.

good thread

Thanks everyone, good info here! My liner was done by the Chevy dealer when I bought the truck so I am not sure of the manufacturer. I am not that happy with it it has chiped in places, is thinner than most and is slick.

Well after walking around a used truck dealership with a friend today and paying attention to all the different liners in the used trucks, I definitely like the looks of the Linex liner better than the Rhino (saw them side by side)... just looks like it will be less likely to get torn up when putting in the sled deck or sled itself.

Thanks for all the opinions listed here, they really help:beer;

Could a guy spray the deck of a sled deck with lineX?? Just wondering if anyone has done this or if it would be a good idea??

Changed my mind once again, lol... had a local body shop do one for me today... very pleased with the texture and application job they did:D

I'm kinda surprised you sprayed over the bed bolts. But as long as you never have to take it off or adjust it I guess it won't be a problem.
