this has been asked 2304832057 times so im just gonna save you alot of reading and help everyone else out.

by the HPS can. everyone runs them, everyone loves them.

quick, and to the point

We should just put a sticky on this subject. Seems that we get this same question at least once a week!

I run HPS btw! Nice sound, quality construction, coated, and light weight.

MBRP gets alot of votes as well. Although I have never heard one.

Where do you ride? That will help answer the question.

Mountians: THING--This can helps hold compression and keep your pipe at top efficency at altitude.

Anything lower: SLP, MBRP, HPS

MBRP is the loudest and most annoying in my opinion.

my .02

H20SKE...

I ride 6500' and up. I bought the Thing because the theory made the most sense but I really just wanted room for another bottle and less weight without losing power. I got a couple clicks on my clutch too so I was really happy with it. I haven't run other cans on it so I don't really know how it compares. Al seems competent and loves the sport so I give him a good rating.

Thing, Jaws or MBRP. Reliable sources tell me thats the way to go. Turbo Al is an awesome tuner, clutcher and best of all great person. Jaws, I know 3 guys that know there sh!ot in a big way and run them, i also know another tuner that swears by the MBRP. Might not hold any value for those reading this, but all the folks giving me there opinion have insane track record for being honest and true as well as extensive experience with the XP's. Thats gold in my world.

I have the HPS can. Sounds good, no noticable difference in power other than it sounds fast when your in the throttle. turboal's Thing looks really good too. I would by either of these.

Here's the HPS installed. Nice fit and finish.

Whas it on an R motor?

I got the Big Core Barker ceramic coated.
Did you notice and gains/losses?

no, didn't notice any change but I never have on any can on any sled. Really nice sound and looks cleaner than stock. looses weight too. If you're looking for performance get his single pipe. really wakes the R up. my brother has head, pipe, reads, y- pipe and cleaned p the ports a little ( no jetting) the thing rips.
