Whatever happened to Thunder Racing?

Remember their screw type supercharger? They used to post up on here all the time and claim they were testing thier brains out and would have the best product ever. I see their website is gone, did they finnaly throw in the towel?

I do believe we have the best supercharged yamahas on the planet. Ask Brad Story, Val Simons or Dave from Powderlites what they thought of our Apex. 1.2 L\rev Screw blower, Thunder Chiller liquid to air inter-cooler, bypass valve, & RB-3 controller. Perfect package except it was to cost prohibitive to manufacture. We couldn't be competitive money wise with the competition. 3 seasons, 20#'s boost, no engine mods except cam timing change, on 110 race gas. We are working on a less expensive kit for the Nytro with the same features as the Apex. Preliminary testing last spring showed real promise. And anyone who says their turbo or centrifugal supercharged sled has zero lag.... they need to hop on my sled once. We do this mostly for fun anymore.
