what year did toyota stop putting a sold front axel in their trucks?

lol, if they keep up the way they're going they'll be the ONLY ones making trucks once they make a 3/4 tonne or HD diesel.

Those last 85 model trucks are great to turn into crawlers. I have a buddy who stripped ALL the body off his except the inner fenders and hood, built a full roll cage, installed 4 racing seats with 5 pt. harnesses (one for him, his wife, and the rear seats for his twin boys), added a second transfer case for SUPER low gearing, threw on some 38's and takes his new toy to a lot of OHV parks. Its a cheap off roader and still runs the little stock motor. The only other mod was a 6 inch lift.
