Quick update: Uploaded the Jay Marmount map. A bit warmer at 22 degrees F this morning and she again started up like a champ. 5th kick.
I can't say a different map made much difference in starting and I felt no difference to speak of with the ride. Could just be me. I'm still a bit confused, but I'll play around with different settings, depending on conditions, and see what happens.
