For those of you that are running the HPS can on your M1000's with the stock pipe, what Y pipe have you found gets the best result? I was talking to the SLP rep at the snow show and he said that different brands of Y pipes are different lengths which greatly effects the performance. Is this true.
Thanks for your help.

Y are not the same

Slp should have told you DYNO #'s if they had HP to share but they don't.
So there out. D&D Y pipe is longer makes good power but the fit is funky.

The SW Y fit's the best-gives as good power and most cost effective...and by the way, Many don't realize that the HPS MAKES power on the m1000!!!:D

Tis a good combo and KEEP your stock pipe / add a head and get it dialed in with a good box and enjoy....:present:

Sorry for the dumb question. Who is the "SW" y pipe

i've dyno'ed 3 different y-pipes....the speedwerx easily made more hp than the other two (don't ask which).....on my stock 09 1000, it made just over 11 hp with stock pipe and cpi can...on the snow it was a very strong set-up, changed the clutching of course, but i would reccommend a fuel box...i used a bd and added +6 to the high end rpm...
