Also an open floor pop up tent, tarps, propane heater, propane tank, halogen shop lights, and a small portable generator make repairs go much easier. Of course you might want to pick up a small sled if you want to bring some luxury repair items as well.

I have always carried a chain breaker for our group. I snapped the plates on a link at the dunes once and it was a long wait for parts to repair. Save the weight of a chain press, pliers work fine. Carry the breaker instead.
