So I found a turbo for a car project I am working on. Dude said it was for a duramax. Well he drove three hours to sell it to me and when he showed up it was just a little sucker. like the smallest turbo I have ever seen.
I was wondering how I could be able to tell how many cc's it's good for. or cfm. There aren't any a/r numbers on it that I can see. It is a garrett.
It was a brand new turbo and he sold it to me for $150, I figured I could put it on a sled or something, I will eventually figure something out for a $150.
But can anyone help me figure out how to identify what it is. It has a .48 stamped on the inside of the pressure side of the cold side. and some strange numbers on the hot side and then the garrett sr# tag, and thats it.
