Ship it to polaris race dept.Put on it Attention Tom Jr. #1-715-684-5157 ext.12.Ship to this address 10303 Calumet ave. rothchild wi. 54474.

Tom will remove the temp sensor, rpm limiter, and whatever you want.he can even alter the ignition curve and take timing away or put in at any rpm range you want.price is $50.00.

what are you running you need 9700-10000rpms?are improvers only run 9400rpm and pro stocks are 9600-9800rpm.

On a stock XCR 800, the power stops climbing after 8000-8200... pointless to try and rev 9700 unless you have a full on race engine that makes power there.

When I put Titanium rods in my '95 storm they told me to run the RXL CDI but that was seventeen years ago so it might have been for other reasons also.

From what I understand the RXL ignition will let it spin faster, 9600. But you will lose HP due to the timing curve. The cost finding a used one will be on par with a reprogram.

CDI

RXL is analog where the XCR is digital. That means the RXL fires all 3 plugs at the same time. 3 times per revolution of the crank. XCR only fires 1 per cylinder per revolution of the crank. Not sure if the Stator will confuse the RXL CDI.
