What track for turbo sled?

The stock Polaris 2.4 works pretty damn good for a stock track. That's what I've been running on my boosted Pro for 2 years now. I also did the f-bomb track mod which I feel help my "hard" snow performance without really hurting the powder riding at all.
I haven't found a riding spot yet that I felt I would have "made it over the top" if I had a better track. I'm sure those spots are out there, but I'm not going to be riding in those spots any time soon anyways given my current riding abilities.

As far as durability goes, man this stock track is really durable, I have been WOT over rocks, trees you name it and I still have yet to rip a lug.

i plan to do the same! i have been doing that for 4 seasons now. My only concern is how many screws have you lost? I am worried about the additional track speed of a turbo sled throwing the scews.

I did this plus screwed every third lug. (Huge improvement when sled was stock.)

My buddy has an identical setup (same turbo kit) with the stock track, no trimming.

To be 100% honest.. at 12#'s I dont think it makes a bit of difference. The only way to tell mine isnt stock is to look at it.

I am putting a 2.5" camo extreme on this week and will post up my findings

how about when your climbing up a creek bed spinning on rocks, trees, stumps, and frozen dirt? i bet your buddys might not do so hot there.

Been running the 162 x 3" this year on my boosted sled. Absolutely love it., hands down the best track I have ever used. Awesome down hill breaking, great in the powder, and so far seems to work well in the spring snow!

no screws. The "F-bomb mod" on the Pros doesn't include putting screws in.

Ive been told the camoplast extreme track is to soft for heavy or hard snow? And ive seen it on a M8 turbo also, and don't really looks like it hooks up very good on harder snow.

174" is pointless for tree riding. 155" works fine for me.

That's what I thought till I put a 174 on my turbo d8. The thing is amazing in the trees. No harder to maneuver around then a 163" but its like a tractor. Goes about anyplace you have the balls to take it

Same here. I love the new CE 162 x 3" on a boosted sled.

Loved the 3'' 162 on our boosted sleds this year don't think I could back to anything else.
