What to order with my 2014?

Snow checked my sled but don't know what options to go with. Dealer said I can choose anything he can order in to his store. Was thinking PA head and some clutching. Ordered a PRO 163 LE. Thoughts? Going with the 2yr with 1000$.

I love the underseat bag. Can fit, waterbottle, extra goggles and gloves and knife/saw in it. Take one of thoose.

You might also enjoy a low-windshield, the original hight pops the rivets out sometimes when you get stuck and roll the sledge down slope to get unstuck. Original can probably break if its hardpacked snow when doing that.

Otherwise I agree with Toofpaste´s post.

acc.

Definetly skip the polaris hand guards. Look good but functionality is bad at best. Was a mistake on my part and should of waited to let others test. I should of waited and did the ROX flex tecs which I have on my cat and love! I also did the Lock and Ride backpack and love it. Now I don't throw myself off the sled anymore when jumping accross sled with my 15 pounds of junk I dont need in my backpack.

Dash Bag that relocates the the tach a absolute must!

Not if you are running the LOW windshield.
It looks REALLY odd with that big dash bag up so high and a low windshield in front of it.
Looks like you have a helmet bag installed on your dash.

If you have the mid or high windshield, it's not so odd.

I set one of those bags on my dash with low windshield and stood back to look at it.

I immediately returned that bag to the sales staff.

Now if you install the head, won't that void that so called two year warranty???

That would be MY understanding. There is a paragraph in the warranty about any changes designed to increase the power or speed or some such, which rules out pipes, cans, hi flow intakes, heads, reeds(?), potentially gearing and clutching, basically any mods other than cosmetic.

there is a new one for the lower windshield for 2014.

Im going with skid plate, extreme bumper, and wheel kit from polaris.

I have a handle bar bag and a powder keg. not sure about the pro ride under seat bag but my iq one gets everything super wet so ill just stick with my dry powder keg.

im going with the tall shield for at home, i just take my sheild off in the hills, also trying the skinz heat loc hand guards for around home, bent my power madds and they dont deflect the wind very good.

for after market i was going to do foot well vents, gauge lifter, and 3 inch bar riser and a bmp full velocity muffler.

Going to see how my friends pro runs with his rk tek drop in then possibly to his head or the cheater head.

Depends on who you're talking to. I discussed that with my dealer. It won't be a problem.
Your dealer is right. It won't be a problem as long as you don't put in a claim. :face-icon-small-con

Anyway.......Consider the four year warranty.
Hand guards suck.
What does 1000$ mean?
I had the under seat bag on two different sleds and it seamed to always ice up the zipper. Sold or gave away both of them. If your hell bent on spending money. Buy an extra belt or two, plugs, oil, exhaust valve gaskets, scratchers, and a QD belt. You have to buy these things anyway. Other thoughts maybe and not limited to, back pack, shovel, probe, beacon, saw, compass, GPS. These sleds are amazing right out of the box. Go with that. And don't waste your money on vents.

Don't think I'll have it for four years. The 1000$ is towards any options I want, comes with the 2 year warranty. I am all geared up and have spare belts. I have a 2013 pro 155 I'm giving to my wife so all the spare parts I need! Haha. Just looking at my options. Last year I bought a cover, skid plate, gas rack, and a set of blue pannels. This year not sure yet thinking head and clutch but may be risky. Maybe a boss seat, bumper, and cover.

Extreme bumper- I owned 2 as in past tense, they are junk after one decent hit and worse, leave you with no bumper when the front tube breaks off. I have skins bumpers on 2 sleds now and they are nice, but WRP has the clear winner IMO. I put a WRP on my 13 and it is super handy and durable. I have tagged trees with it, no worries. It makes a great handle all the way around.

Mad Fab guage lifter- I have them on all my sleds, love the venting for heat and being able to see the guage is awesome. Looks 100x better than that B.S. bag Polaris makes

Speaking of bags, it may be big, but I do love the Burandt tunnel bag, tons of room for everything, and the best part is that the zippers never freeze up!

ZBroz A arms- While not indestructable, they ensure that you never damage a shock with a bent arm and replacements are alot cheaper than stock. I have these on all my sleds as do most of my riding buddies.
