What to get your xp buddies for christmas

XP: Hard Steering, Front Heavy, Track Eating, Belt Eating, Driveshaft Breaking, Bulkhead Wrinkling, Lightweight Sled.

Hmm...I only see one positive out of that first year sled, not to mention that Rotax top ends have to be rebuild every 2000 miles, compared to the 4000 you can get out of the competition, the CAT and POL handle so much nicer and can go everywhere that the XP does. It is funny how a simple marketing gimmick as "The Lightest Sled on the Hill" is enough to make everybody dribble down their leg. I know a guy with an XP and that is all he can say, it's the lightest sled out, over and over and over. It is sad that that is all the XP owners can say, don't people use some sense when looking at these sleds, pretty soon Doo guys will be ridding throw away plastic sleds!

Any and all Doo forums you go to HCS, SW and DT all have a bunch of Poo, Cat and Yami people camped out posting this kind of crap. There are several reasons: you hit one on the head ENVY: the best keeps getting better. LONELINESS: they find that it's harder to even find their friends riding the same sled as they are so the "Mutual Stroking Society" is turning into "Singular Sledding Pity Party". STUBBORNESS: "my sled is still better than that one that has 4 times as many owners". EXTORTION: "If I sell my brand none of my buddies will ride with me anymore". ALZHEIMERS: "my brand is #1", yeah back in 1995 or 2001.

The list of reasons could max out SW server and I could care less. I believe that all of the OEM's have quality products. This is like the "Great Oil Bebate". BS, they're all good, it's just a personal choice and matter of preference. I and most other Doo riders aren't compelled to hang on the other sites trashing them. If you do then you are part of the problem also. Go to the General discussion area and talk trash all you want. The brand specific forums should be for fellow enthusiasts to learn and share info about their sled and to prepare for a great season. People also come here to find out if they want to go Doo but I guess that is just another threat to someone's manhood. If someone wants to know about Poo then go ask Poo people, I don't know and will at least have the common courtesy not to force my distorted sense of the sledding world on them.

certainly some valid points quickdraw....other valid points are sharing bad points of a sled so that someone else can head off a problem before it strands them in the back-country.....or to point out that ski-doo doesn't honor their warranty unless large amounts of political or legal pressure is brought to bear, so how about it ski-doo, you going to honor your warranty with my claim....or continue to let your bean-counters do your thinking for you.....and hide behind the border?....for those who may not have read my posts, check out "xp throttle sticks"

this is for you SLYRYDR

I think you need to go whine some where else. I'am already tried of hereing about your problems. If they are not going to warranty it move on and fix the dam thing your self and get ready for the new season. Not tring to be rude but man move on

Honestly, I think that would be impossible to get warrentied. If they did yours, they'd have to warrenty everybody who ran into a tree, and claimed the throttle stuck. I'm not calling you a liar, but they can't just do your's, & not nobody elses. They have to draw the line somewhere, and there's too many things that could have happened. Knee hitting the throttle, left handed throttle sticking. I'm sure if your throttle is still stuck, you might have a case, and they'd fix that, but as far as fixing your sled, that's not happening! JMO!
