What to finish new trailer with?

I have a new enclosed trailer that I want to finish the floor. I have looked at the Rhino liner wich is pretty spendy. Has anyone come across a like product that works as well or have any other suggestions.

They have that garage floor paint on stuff but dont know how long itll last in their. maybe some laminate(sP)?

I bought a 2 part epoxy floor paint from the local paint store. I put one coat on and used my handheld yard fertilizer spreader to spread quartz sand on to it. I let that dry and then put a second coat on over the top.

It's tough as nails, hasn't come off at all, and the sand makes for excellent traction.

I also put ski guides down to protect against the carbide damage.

carpet

I have talked on here before and highly recommend a good commercial grade carpet. If you get a carpet made by Lee's commercial with the unibond backing
you will get a carpet that will last for at least 5 years and will keep the melting snow from getting to the wood and it does work great!! Also with the carpet I haven't used tie downs for years.. You can steer on the carpet with ease and if you install it on the ramps you can walk up and down with out slipping on your arse.. Carpet is also warmer hold the heat in (if you have a heater) and the cold out. nice on the bare feet.. I have installed carpet in enclosed trailers for over 7 years and have done dozens of them. If you can find a nearby floor store, a real one not the box stores. they can find a short roll from Lees and get you out for around $500.00 for a 28 footer. I recommend stapling down the carpet. If anyone wants more info or help give me a pm. DC

Trailer Flooring

Conveyor belting works very well. I first put Thompson water seal on the the wood floor, then covered the entire floor with conveyor belting. It is completely waterproof. I check my floor every summer and it is easy to tell that it has not been wet. Also, studs and carbides don't rip the belting at all!! Couple of drawbacks--- 1) the ramps are a bit slippery when they are wet. 2) the belting is pretty heavy. Other than that it works very well. My trailer is 5 years old and the floor looks brand new.

I've been wanting to buy some DIY spray in bedliner off Ebay. Some of it comes with the sprayer and you can get it in different colors. Seems to be alot cheaper than paying the local shops to do it. Anyone try that stuff yet, on a truck or anywhere else.
