What to buy..?

I am concidering a turbo kit for my pro. What should i go for? Boondocker, silber, twisted, aerocharger or Hm? I have been looking at Bd and Twisted. What kit is most bang for the buck? Does all of this kit`s fit right in whitout modifications? How is the tt kit`s vs bd?

add a another to look at..by far the best running turbo pro's I have seen yet..Boost-it turbo's..talk to neil on here(NM is screenname)

This is definately a "do your homework" sort of deal.

Make sure you check customer service from actual customers.
Make sure you know how each system operates (automotive or self contained)
Make sure you understand piggy-back vs stand-alone fuel systems. Even some piggybacks are different that other piggybacks...and the same for stand-alones.
Make sure you ride one of each if you have the opportunity. Ride both the customer sleds AND the vendors sled of the same brand of kit to compare notes.
Intercooled or not.
Extra injectors or not. Know if the stock injectors will flow enough for the boost you want to run.
Which boost level? Race fuel or pump gas.

And there is MORE. :)

How is that for a start. LOL

Good answer if u ask me:)
But i dont have the opportunity to test some turbo sleds now. But customers of some of these kits can i talk to. My opinion is that customer service is one of the most important things, i have been buying stuff from companys that doesnt give any good support. And with bad support u get bad customers..
When it comes to stand alone units etc i can only say that we are all learning something new all the time and i dont have any problem to learn if i have to.

Yeah, it's always good to see if a company wants your biz for 10 minutes or 10 years. LOL

Ok, maybe i should check that out. I have seen a youtube clip with the boost it pro, it looked like a rocket if u ask me.
if you like someone elses turbo better..you can still do neals fuel system..right now its the best running I have seen for a pro(or most anything really) and will work with other turbo kits...

I went with Silber due to the fact that he is local and has a good product. The sled has ripped and any issue I have had has been my own fault and nothing to do with the turbo, he has always been helpful to me.

In today's technological day and age, that is more or less important depending on one's perspective. LOL

Id only go 1 of 2 ways either a exteraly wastegated turbo like a tial or a aerocharger from what ive seen shanes kit with the air to water and cold air intake just works really well on the polaris but the aero is higher maintenance. The Tial is a fast spooling turbo and ovs has been in the game along time and travis is great to deal with. But so is shane hart i dont think u can go wrong either way JMHO

Pros and cons for Bd and Twisted. Anyone? If some of you have experience with other kits than bd and tt thats ok.

I like boondocker for what you get. The ebc is awesome. As far as the rest go, I imagine that they are all good. My buddy has an aero and it works great but you have to change springs and washers to change boost. The ebc you can just hit a button. If you buy a boondocker you should buy it from someone you can get service from and deal with them instead of boondockers. That is worth it's weight in gold.

Is it this kit you are thinking of? http://aerocharger.com/kits_polaris_pro_rmk.php

I have been told that earlier, more maintenance with aero, but a sick throttle respons. In the long run i dont think i would go for aero, but u never know. Thanks for a good answer.

I guess the boondocker have som advantages there. Thats true, if i dont find someone with good service from bd i think i would find something else. Do you know if there is a difference in performance between Bd and Twisted if i have 8-10psi boost?

backup

I would get a backup sled before a turbo. You will need one with the turbo...
Make sure it is a good sled too cause you will probably be riding it...

Well.. I dont think i wil need a backup sled. I know that turbo isnt pull and go, but do you mean that there is to much trouble with turbo?
