Well, I'm in Colorado, so that probably doesn't help you much, but I do have a sled for sell. It's a Ski Doo Summit Adrenaline 600 HO with a 144 inch track. I've got it listed for sale for 3300 right now just because I've upgraded the skis and have a few other extras on it, also with a top end rebuild done 400 miles ago. KBB value is $3000 with standard equipment, so he'd probably be able to find something like my sled in Idaho or Montana for his price range. In my opinion a 600 is a good machine to start out on. Not too much power but enough to learn some skills on, also lighter than 800's so much easier to throw around. That's what I did at least, and I'm moving up to an 800 this season.
