What primary weights 4 post to 3 post.

What primary weights with the 3 post clutch should I be running with an 046 belt on a 07 M1000 with SW pipe, y-pipe, jaws can? I had the 4 post with 2-65's and 2-68's, yellow/white primay spring, that worked good. The secondary is a Cutler with 42/36 helix and Cutler Red/White spring 4th hole. Elevation is 7-10K.

I am just making the switch and want to get the right weights.

Thanks

maybe im dumb but wouldnt you still want the same amount of weight in the clutch? Like 65+65+68+68=266......So divided by 3 = 88.6g?? Or does the weight difference in the clutch itself change that alot?

Off topic a little, but I have to ask you what you were getting for rpm with this setup?? My 07 has SW pipe, Y and can. I was running 4-65's with 046 belt, and only getting 7200 rpm. My secondary is stock, with shift assist and hitorque rollers. It seems strange to me that I can increase the hp with the exhaust, and then have to run lighter weights than stock to get my rpm's.

I was getting 7400-7600 rpms. I also have BD box and a NGK AF sensor. The Cutler Secondary made the biggest difference especially back shift, 800 miles on a belt. Run like a stripped a$$ ape.

They are telling me 80's. guess I'll try that.

cles, i have the same question??? i'm running bmp y pipe pipe and can, and i am running 68 ( 4 post) on my 07 M1000, and can only pull about 7450, but on my stock pipe i had 72 gram weights! CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS? I ride 3 to 6 thousand ft. yellow white primary, RKT secondary with 36 helix , sno pro green in second to last hole ( this isn't the combo i'm looking for , haven't quite figured the clutching out yet)
