What powerbooster for ford F250 7.3

Wow, this tread really exploded. I went for a Edge, and it seems to work out just fine. Got some more power, and that`s what I was looking for. Thanks for all the answers guys.

I have custom a tuned chip from Tony Wildman, I believe his website is Total Diesel Performance. He specializes in 7.3L Powerstrokes and his tunes are awesome you'll never drive a stock truck again after using Tony's tunes. Also if you ever want to change anything he will do it for free all you have to do is get him the chip. He is a great guy to work with and will help you out with any of your truck issues. I have his number if anyone wants to contact him just PM me and I will get it to you.

What's the DP tuner?

Anyone care to enlighten me? Hehe.

I've got a 2000 7.3L PS with 147,000 miles on it.

Runs great, but would definitely like to give er' that real loud diesel bark.

DP and TW chips are the two products that are spoken of most highly for the 7.3L. In fact, people who use other products, and switch to a DP, or TW custom tuned chip are usually upset that they waisted their money and time on the other stuff.

I don't have a chip yet because I have been slowly building up to it.

I changed my Intake to a Tymar, and I changed my downpipe and exhaust.

I then got sidetracked by winter, and poured money into my sled. this spring I had to change my trans.

long story short, when I get my chip, I am leaning towards the DP for asthetic purposes. Their switch is better looking than TW, but people rave about both.

That must be new, He was charging about 75.00 for a reflash last year. I haven't done my homework for about 6 months.

Diesel innovations are great tunes to for the 7.3. Slim (david lott) down there knows his stuff and also has and tunes some of the fastest powerstrokes in the country...I run DI tunes. I have run DP, TW, BTS, and Elite tunes and now DI and I like my DI tunes the best so far...

I'm running the php (power hungry performance) 6 position chip with a burner to change tunes if I so desire. Zero complaints so far.

Go with the DP tuner, you will be happy!! SuperChips will not lock up the torque converter and it fried the drive clutches and front pump seal in the ol' 4R100!! Went with a John Woods trans kit and talked to Jody @ DP Tuner. Between them and a Banks big head wastegate, a wicked wheel in the turbo, and a boost annihilator, my truck runs awesome with 38-15.50-20's!!!!!!

I myself run a BULLY DOG programmer. on the fly changing and gets me about 13-15mpg in town loaded or not on my 7.3L
Money well spent to help any chip or programmer is an intake, exhaust and a banks bighead wastegate.
Yes it will trip the engine light but it will reset after a few minutes. 162,000 miles on mine so far. WITH the Bully Dog you can install a Crazy larry program but you have to sign a waiver first, cause it will break parts.

or... instead of wasting money on the wastegate. take the red line off it and plug it, and tighten it WAY down, i did mine so i can sometimes trip the SES light on long WOT pulls in 5th with a trailer. but other then that it hammers right to about 22 on stock tuning. shoot, i can hit that ripping around town if i want, uphill empty its right there. freebi.

also running the 6637 filter and straighpiped made it run a LOT cleaner.. i would like to dyno it just to see how much better it runs then a true "stocker" no fueling mods on mine. but it does run a ton better then it did stock.
