What oil?

I still am happy running the VES gold. Power valves were nice and clean after 1100 miles, compression was perfectly even on both sides, and motor runs good... no plans to change it in the future.

Ves, Walmart, Orielly oil

Ford, Chevy, Dodge trucks

Take your pick, lol.

IMO

This is one of those topics that nobody will ever agree on, I think there's a thread in General snowmobiling with 2 or 3 hundred posts in it about oil.

yep your right seth...just dont get a FORD or VES OIL and you should be good ;) LOL....:face-icon-small-coo

I have had at lest 5 Polaris sleds come though my shop in the past 2 years burned down from your good old {Polaris Gold } purer Junk NEVER NEVER RUN THAT CHIT:crazy::argue:

hmm...another clutch master and sled guru..good enough for me...:first:

hmmm ill have to get some of that castol, ive ran the ves ever since ive had it. 5600 miles not a problem with it, but its expensive as hell.

I'd say if you have run VES for 5600 miles, your most likely not going to have an oil related problem..... LOL

if it aint broke, don't fix it... lol of course that doesn't always apply to the 900s, but it does for a lot of things anyway

It would be interesting to know how much 5600 miles of VES costs tho:face-icon-small-sho

I have to believe there are some other factors that are not being considered here, like were these guys running nitrous in these sleds, did they store them properly, were they stored inside or out, after market pipes? jetted properly?
