What kinda oil?

hey guys,

I am looking into different kinds of oil for my 09 d8. What is everyone running?

I was looking into amsoil or blue marble? anyone run them that can give me some insight?

Im looking for something that keeps the valves clean but also keeps everything lubricated.

I was told that amsoil will keep everything really clean but due to the detergents in the oil it dont lubricate as well as others.

I've heard a few good things about blue marble but I've heard it dont burn very clean.

As you can see I'm kinda torn in two about this. I want to make sure my motor has plenty of lubrication especially with that 800 lemon motor.

Any feedback about what everyone else is running would help me out alot or just thoughts about the topic would also help

Thanks,

sledking

here is a great thread in general snowmobiling originally from hardcore sledder. Great info from an independent tester.

The oil debate will go on forever. I was surprised that some brands I considered to be very good really weren't. I have been using Spectro Syn Sno in my 08 dragon since new. No oil related problems to date. In fact in all my years of riding I have never had an oil related problem in a two stroke. Yamalube, Amsoil, Spectro, and who knows how many other brands I've run. Lol.

I run blue marble in all of my older sled but since i have sold them and have a new one now i have been running redline.

I know there are more people than this that can give me some info on oils??

Thanks,
Sledking

Polaris semi synthetic to break it in and Amsoil Interceptor after that and no oil related issues in four new sleds.
