What kind of gas to use in XP

I have an 08 xp what type of gas should I use... Ive always been using 94. can i get away with 90? or not a good idea? A local rider tells me i am i just waisting my money putting the good stuff in.

91 is fine, higher elevation requires less octane also.

Exactly!! I'm no sledding genius, but I follow the manufacturer's instructions and have had very little problems!! Premium keeps me going, baby !!!!

Unless the XP requires greater than 91 octane at sea level, you can decrease your octane rating as you go higher because 91 is for worst case scenario.

91.. wtf.. I've been using C16 fer nuthin.! damn..but VP smells so sweet when it burns.. lol
