Rap and hip hop are two totally different styles. One could also argue that rap is a type of music and hip hop is a lifestyle.

But i prefer rap to hip hop music. I am a huge fan of old school west coast rap (Ice T, NWA, tupac, ice cube, Eazy E, Dre, snoop, Cypress Hill). Not many guys with that sort of flow anymore. Although Lupe Fiasco's new album is unreal and his flow and lyrics remind me of Tupac.

it's all about expanding your mind to new ideas I love music and in most any style I can find something that gets me going. Variety is the spice of life. In fact if you looked at my cd collection or Ipod you'd see a huge mix. Jazz, blues, classic rock, hippie music, country, old country. Classical, hip-hop, reggea, ska, accoustic, hard rock, metal, rap, gangsta rap.
