what is up with the stering on the snopro m1000

air box kit allows you to take all of the crap out of the hood. it's got to be 5 lbs or more. powder pros are a must! 75lbs in front shocks 100lbs in the rear, limiter in middle to help front stay in the snow up the big hills. oh, and dont forget the port and pipe job to give her some extra ponies. riser is also no brainer, gives you some leverage to horse the thing over.

i rode one of those lite weight ski dooeeeooos 08 & xps sleds there steering sucks gave me arm pump. my m1000 does just great 3in riser makes a world
differents.even my buddys agreed arm pump less om m1000.not all dealers know how to set up sleds. once you find one stick with him.

ski doooeeeeoooosss maybe lite but you better get your gas tank fixed
they took to much weight off the gas tank.now there recalling over 2700 new ski doooeeeoooosss. all 800 i heard.

with every recall they will have to fix all weak lite weight parts with heavy
durable pieces. will be interesting after all recalls down the road what will this sled weigh ???????:beer;

lower the front arm of the skid

I had the same problem, I lowered the front arm of my rear skid down a half an inch, lightens the front end up transfers perfectly.
you will like this quick and simple mod!

a buddy bought one this year, we had it out at revy last week, i drove it a few times and had to give it back early each time, the sled felt like we went back 10 years in sledding... sterring feels real weird,(cause a arm lock) how can i guy sidehill something like that, no leverage factor for the rider at all

as for the power it felt good but sure is front heavy, always wants to submarine in deep snow even with the light weight can compared to the xp

is their something he can do to fix this because after driving mine he now is not to happy about his purchase:mad::mad:

thanks for the reply

Mine feels fine

Maybe it's because I didn't get the snopro version, but my brand new M8 feels like a dream so far. I'm still getting used to it after riding Yamaha's for years, it's a little different feel, but overall, I really like the balance, steering, all that stuff. One note, it is not a very good trail ride, but who cares about that anyway, I knew that going in to it and didn't care, if I wanted a good trail ride I would not buy an M8. Anyway, I'm not really a cat guy, but traded some labor for Credit with Cutler's this summer, so however he gave it to me, I must say, no complaints here.
