What is up with a constant red caution light on the speedo?

I put on a taller riser block on an '04 summit X. When I start it, I still get the two standard "beeps" , but the red caution light is on steady. The brake is not closed on the rotor, there is a full resevoir of oil & everything still works fine. What gives??

Caution light or the brake light? Or are they the same on the 04?

If so--I say it is the brake switch itself--mine went on my 05--same thing.

If you removed the tail light, chances are good there's water in the connector....which turns the red brake light on.

Its the brake light. my 04 does the same. it could be water in the plugs, too tight on the brake line, or the swich that turns it on is just stuck like mine does.
