What is the difference between the blue Polaris VES Synthetic and the Polaris VES Gold Synthetic? I noticed that the new Axys sleds are running the blue oil and we have always ran the VES Gold in our Pros. Can you mix the gold with the blue?
Nevermind, I just looked at Polaris' website and seen that the Polaris VES was formerly VES Gold Plus so its the same oil. They must have been using blue premium for the initial break in of the snowmobile.
They shouldn't be running the blue oil. It states in the manual and on the oil tank to run the ves gold. They even say to run the gold in the fuel tank for break in.
