What is the definition of a pro rider?

Anyone ever notice the disclaimer at the beginning of every sled flick? It lists all footage is of professional athletes and don't try it at home.
So that's a drop in that bucket, everyone on film is professional good or bad

Wasn't about that but thank you.It's been fun.I was always more curious as to what people thought it really meant. I know the big guys out there and there the champs no doubt, BUT I see so many riders that are so capable of anything that is going on out there.They do not have the spot light on them but there there. are they not any more of a pro then those in the spot?

i get what your saying and i know a guy like that. super talented and actually rides with a few big names but i doubt has interest is pursueing it as a career. i always enjoy watching him anyway.

but i guess i wouldnt consider him a pro being thats more of a job title to me? maby?
hes just extremely talented and a good time

Any type of clothing line
Can get away wearing a flatbilled hat
In a magazine ad
Have you own school
Have verb on either side of your name (first or last)
Get hired by an OEM
Have an OEM sled sold with your racing number on it
Have a cool toterhome/trailer setup
sponsored by any any energy drink.
