What is best piston to use??

Replacing pistons in my 2004 RMK 800. found some Wiseco piston kits, polaris OEM kits and SPI piston kits. Have seen some posts where some have said to use OEM polaris pistons. did some research but didn't find anything info i could use. What is the best option for my sled??

Depends on your budget, wiseco's are an excellent choice in my opinion and come with a quality gasket set. Since they are a forged piston you will want to check your cylinder wall to piston skirt clearance and make sure it is greater then .007". SPI and OEM's are an excellent choice as well.

I have just over 1000 miles on my Wiseco set in an 04' 800 Poo. I was told to not use the paper cylinder base gaskets that came with the Wiseco kit though. The OEM metal based gaskets are supposed to be best.

Another vote for Spi's. Price is great and they last just as long as the oem's at twice the price. I've never cared for wiscoe's for other than racing apps.
