That is the number of days and weekends lost riding my 2008 dragon 800 from January 30th when the rod bearings seized until March 10th when I got the sled back from the dealer. (that does not count the days lost the last 2 seasons the 3 other times it was towed in... 2 of which were engine siezures & rebuilds) It only took that long to fight Polaris & make them honor the 3 year warrantry that came with the sled when I snow checked it new in 4/2007. I won the war, they lost a customer. The last 4 of those 5 weekends I rode the used Arctic Cat M8 I bought. I finally have a sled I can ride that I am not always worrying about it getting me home or not. Riding is alot more enjoyable now.

Ditto on my 08 700. Brought it in Feb 1st, got it back March 7th. No problems getting them to cover it under warranty but that's a long time for gauranteed paid work for a shop. Happened last year too. I could see it taking a few days to get approval from the warranty company (GE, Polaris, whatever it may be), then maybe a week to get all the parts in order and another 1-2 days to do the work. So 2 weeks tops. Over a month is bullcrap. Snow is all gone by the time I got it back so can't even test ride it. My next sled will be a 600. Way less problems and I couldn't tell the difference between the 6 and 7.

It Happens!

2009 Dragon 1120 miles only one cooked motor, which was done late last year coming across a lake. This was sorta done intentionaly. To make you feel better a friend of mine bought a new XP last year rode out west 4 days, this year blew the motor in Jan. before our trip had it completely rebuilt and it blew the second day out west four mile from the truck. When you have limited mountain trips it is really frustrating.

Just 39 days...chump change! you are not in the big boys league yet...I know very well and so does SkiBreeze. Afew more weeks and you will be getting close to my Polaris D8.

Now I had a SkiDoo that went 6 months before the problem in it was figured out.

WOW congrats to you on fighting the fight and getting Polaris to actually fix it!!!! Did it take the lawyer letters, or what?

Shoot, now I wish I tried harder to fight for my POS to get fixed too. Oh well, I'm in a good place now and have 400 miles already on my 10 M8. I LOVE THIS SLED.
