What if you won the lottery where would you build your sledding retreat?

Around Saratoga WY

It's close to the Snowies, close to the Sierra Madres, natural hot spring, small town atmosphere with a very capable airport.

Right here:

Somewhere where you aren't supposed to go..........Buy a groomer to get to it, maybe the middle of a "wilderness area"........just buy the whole dang area and open it back up to everyone! Money talks right? No greenies allowed! :D

Man you just stole the words right out of my mouth. Yep only motorized vehicles allowed areas.

Well, a real Billionaire, just buys hangers at different airports, Parks a motorhome, SUV, trailer, and sleds, in the hanger. Watches the weather, and jumps on the private jet, to beat the storm in. Fresh pow, all the time. Your house can be anywhere. Your sleds are everywhere, and your posse, is carries pagers.

Oh, and owns working helicopters at all the airports.

I would need a big "hovercraft" to get from my father in law's place on the Sushwap to the better sledding spots, as the ice would kill me. It is also short drive to Revy/Sicamous.:D:D:D
A nice 5000 sq foot custom log cabin with a massive garge out back would be built pronto.
I would then buy a place in Las Lena's Argentina.:eek:
and visit for 2 weeks in the middle of August when there are too many tubers /lake-Gino's on the lake.
I would also try to set the long distance wake surfing record on the Sushwap. I now hold a 2 beer record. I would buy one of those twin engine mastercrafts with the center consol.

star valley - year round

Ah you beat me too it! Either star valley ( come on guys Bedford, Grays River, Indian creek, Sheep Creek and many more with in an hour!) or some where close to revy/golden pretty awesome places to ride up there. I have dreams about turtle:D

retreat??? no way!!!! Think Heli-bilin'...anywhere...drop off at the top so there is no thrashing up some wooped out trail on the way to the good stuff!!!

I would just have this helicopter hotel, sled hauler built.Cabins are for peasants.

That is incredible!
I would love to have a retreat in the snowies! The Place Bar and Grill is pretty dang close to a retreat down there now though. Man I love The Place! Is it winter yet. The tap always tastes better down there in the winter!:beer;:beer;

well i think i would buy up about every square inch of ground within an 80 mile radius of Cooke City except for the town and only have it open for snowmobilers and maby some cool snowboarders. i would make all of them pay say 5 bucks every time they came to play and donate it all to fighting land closures. of course there would be the mad pad i would live in right on the other side of lulu pass. im gunna say about 10,000 sq. ft. log home with heated roof (no shouveling snow) complete with a decked out shop with every kind of sled imaginable from mild to WILD! lol and a helichopper to take me to the air port where i would have another HUGE place around the Surveyor area (which i would also own) lol.

Im gunna need ALOT OF MONEY!!! who wants to be the first to donate some cash to me to start buyin lotto tickets! lol

Western slope, Colorado

Then again if I was rich, probably BC they seem more sled friendly, get more snow and the wilderness thing isnt quite the big deal like in the US !

Alaska ?

Patigonia ?
