i dont ride w many other snowbikers and am mostly curious what the high hp turbo guys and 4 stroke guys can do. i know theres a lot of variables, but i cant pull 3rd gear in deep snow w my 300 w stock yeti gearing. if u have the hp, can u keep shifting up in a climb?

I'm usually pulling 2nd and 3rd. Depending on snow. Deep snow with no base it struggles on steep climbs but I know that's not what it's able to do. I'm on a 16 450fx and a 129 yeti. My buddy with a turbo seems to pull whatever he wants when he wants. Crazy where that turbo can go

nice! thats what im hoping for. Im thinking for the remainder of this season, i might gear it up a bit more to get a bit more track speed in 2nd as it will pull 2nd no prob, but stuggles w 3rd unless im on a mild slope.... then next yr turbo should be nice for keeping up w sleds on the big climbs. i need to be able to do some big climbs to get to certain areas

My kx 500 will pull a pretty long steep hill in 4th. Plus I got 72 mph on my trail tech gps this year on hard PAC. I almost never use 1st. Just 2nd to 4th off trail and almost always in 5th on.

Is your 300 a close or wide ratio trans? makes quite a difference. My 2015 KTM sx 450 mostly pulled second, then put on a thumper racing 520, now pulls 3rd. TS ST, north Idaho

That's pretty impressive. Is that in deep powder?

Not handlebar deep but 8 to 10" fluff

The thing just woke up the last part of the season when I went from 525 to 540bb. I was about ready to give up on it before that.
