What drivers?

I know everyone sick of these threads. But i have a 05 rmk 900 on its way, i dont know which drivers i need from avid or wahl, i've looked and have an idea but cant be sure on what all fits. Is there a way i can install this and not cut my rails down? any options are great, as am settign this up as a back up only. Which brand drivers are better, can i find used anywhere, (checked ebay/CL) thanks for the help.

if its only a backup get the wahl, they are quite a bit cheaper. also, the driver tips are a bit smaller so you will not have to cut your rails as much. if its a pro rmk, then you need the 8 tooth 2.86 pitch. thats what comes on the sled. there is no way around cutting the rails, unless you want to have the drivers physically hit the rails, lock the track up and throw you over the bars. you need to remove the plastic caps, cut the rails, and install the anti-stab kit in place of the limiter strap crossbar

drivers

i installed an 05 900 drivshaft in mine and i used stock drivers off my 09 dragon with the center ani ratchet driver installed bolt in and go worked great

tinker...are you running a 13 pro? 09 dragon drivers you say. Did you have to cut the rails? are you running a 05 900 shaft now also? Did you need to check the run out? not fond of needing this as a back up but at least i have another option to waiting then.

driveshaft

yes 05 900 driveshaft and stock drivers off an 09 dragon in my 13 pro rmk no cutting bolted right in with the stock 13 bearings i didnt check the runout but i spun it in my tunnell and it spun strait and smooth
