I need help. I would like to put a longer lug track on my sled. I currently have a CE 162"x15"x2.25 track. I looking to get either the power claw 2.6", CE 2.5" or peak 2.5. To get it to clear the front heat exchanger do I need to drop the drivers from my current 8 tooth to 7 tooth allowing for more clearance. I believe the diameter on the 8 tooth 3.0 pitch is 7 1/8" and a 7 tooth is 6 1/4". Does anyone have experience doing this please let me know what I would need buy. Thanks

I would go to the 7 tooth drivers if it were mine.
The Nytro MTX comes stock with 7 tooth 3" pitch drivers.

Just for clearance. A 2.5 will be real tight (if it will fit) with 8 tooth drivers. With 7 tooth drivers you will have a lot more room for the snow &the air to move thru the bulkhead area. A friend of mine have been running the 7 tooth avids in his w/ a 2.5 for a few yrs & it works good.. He went to a 3" this year by modifying his bulkhead cooler. Josh

If it has 7 tooth drivers, Which as said above the MTX should have 7 tooths from the factory. Josh
Does anyone know if the new 2.6 powerclaw will fit under a nytro running 7tooth 3" drivers? How tight is the CE 2.5?
I can't decide between the peak 2.5 and power claw 2.6 tracks. What's everyones opinion?
