What does the TPS control?

What does the TPS control on an 07 600 RMK carbed? I'm guessing the EV solenoid but don't know what else.

I found that the plug on mine was completely off.

I've been fighting an intermittent stumble/miss at WOT for a while and then this w/e it was real doggy. I thought that it was just running really rich as it was 50 degrees on the mtn. It was really crappy, stopped going into reverse, died a couple times and required me pouring some gas down the airbox to restart. Today I pulled the carbs and found that one of the pilot air jets had come out and found it's way into the reed cage. Sure runs good when all the parts are where they are supposed to be.

yeah..having stuff where it was meant to be does help for sure....

Got lucky on that one. I don't think my tps on the '07 isn't set properly or the timing was retarded a bit at the stator. It runs great all the time, starts right up, runs consistantly day in and day out. But overall it uses more fuel than the '08 does, 10-11mpg compared to 12-14 on the '08. . . Don't think I'll worry much about it to keep it going like it has.

I've been shimming and playing with needle settings on the 06-07 600's and 685's. there's lots to be had there guys.
