What does REV indicate on my gauge?

I have a REV light flickering on my gauge after installing new wiring. It's never came up before. What does it indicate? It's a 2004 800 RMK.

REVERSE...you might have the bulb plugged into the wrong hole in the back of the guage...if it is flickering I would think it is low oil light or temp light or brake light..easy enough to figure out..hold brake lever down..does it light?..unplug oil sensor from wire harness and jumper wire harness terminal to terminal..is it on solid now? put sled in reverse..does it light solid now? jumper the temp sensor wire just like you did the oil sensor..is it lit solid now?..shouldnt be too hard to trace it out.....
