Looking for how much cats 1100 motor weighs?

Looking for both engine block weight and complete weight with turbo, intercooler, exhaust, intake and electronics if possible.

Thanks

Complete motor as seen in pic, no clutch. 167lbs

Wow

Way heavier than I would have thought.

How does that compare to a nytro motor with the same stuff bolted to it?

I believe the stock Nytro motor is around 120lbs, without the turbo.

So why is it that the mountain viper is within a few pounds of the pro climb? Those yammi clutches are really heavy or the engine weighs a lot more than the claimed weight.

Evolution Powersports told me on the phone that the Nytro motor was about 30 lbs lighter than the cat.

So what does a 162 1100T weight? I have a sr viper xtx that is changed over to a 163 mountain sled with a 270 mcx turbo on it since there is no factory viper mountain sled. I have not had an opportunity to weigh it yet. By chance has anyone posted a weight of one yet?

Homeboy, How would you compare your turbo viper to the turbo nytro you had listed in the swapmeet?

Link to thred with some weight info for M1100T (688lbs ready to ride some ice in skid) and Viper (558 lbs with 162 non turbo) not sure on fuel in viper

Better get a pair of glasses. cat 688, viper 687, both full of fuel ready to ride.

I am thinking you are close at 585 but when I get a chance I will weigh my viper. I have two Turbo Nytros the impulse that is for sale on here, and a 270 MCX. The viper comes up on boost about as fast as my impulse and much faster than my Nytro 270. As far as all out power it runs more like the Nytro 270 MCX, my race impulse is closer to the 350 mark. As far as chassis we have had poor snow conditions and I really haven't been able to ride it to its full potential, and I am still dialing in the chassis to my riding style. I have been on the nytro chassis since 08 and the viper does handle different so I will have to adjust to that as well.

687 is an MCX Apex.

585 was estimated for a turbo viper.
Unless I'm losing my vision and my mind.

Those posted weights can be taken with a grain of salt if you ask me.

688 for a 2012 M1100t 153
-full of fuel ready to ride
-sled has snow in skid, on tunnel, on skis and front end
-not sure if scale was zeroed for straps
-add 4-5lbs maybe for a 162
-2014 M1100t are lighter then 2012's

558 2014 Viper 162
-take off 8lbs for straps
-sled has a gallon of fuel so pretty much empty tank
-no turbo installed
-has a Zbros front end usually bit lighter than stock parts
-what kind of rear skid is in the sled

I would like to see someone weigh a full of fuel ready to ride 2014 M1100T and full of fuel ready to ride 2014 Viper with turbo, should only see 30-40 lbs difference due to motor weigh. The Viper turbos will have a light weight muffler already so do a full exhaust on the M1100t to be fare, might see the Viper being only 20-30lbs lighter now. Be interesting to see the actual differences between the 2 sleds maybe the Vipers are a lot lighter due to yamaha's build specs.

2013 1100turbo limited with 162 track

weighed a new sled on the arctic cat show room floor, 632lbs, no fuel, on a set of digital race car scales, add 6lbs per gallon for fuel and you have wet weight.

That put it at 694lbs crazy, wouldn't think it weighed that much
