RX, these cituations can frustrate the heck out of you and push you over the edge. Emotions always run high when our kids are involved but be mindful of your emotions and don't let emotion dictate any bad judgement that can be used against you later. I'm in no way saying you would or will but I've seen these kind of things do a 180 and put all the power back in the wrong hands. Now if you believe your son is in harms way then I say all bets are off and you do whatever you have to do to protect him. Just don't give her anything to use against you. You're fighting the good fight, keep it up and you will prevail.

keep up the fight your son is worth it. I'd recomend contacting the state bar association for their win/loss record on liscnsed attorneys in the state and go to the best one, a good attorney is expensive but worth it.
Been going thru the same thing with my X for 4 yrs now...all I can advise is you have to be the good guy in this..dont stalk her, do not have any contact with out a very reputable person present who's testimony will stand up in court..take lots of pictures of anything out of the ordinary such as your son coming home in dirty clothes, unshowered and such....film her living conditions everytime you can..document pickup drop off times to the minute for both partiesincluding what the proposed time was vrs. actual time..always make sure you folow trhu completely on every promise you make(such as I will have son here at this time or opick up at this time..be spot on the money)..All courts heavily favor the woman..its a unfair fact of life..use it to your advantage..you must prove to the court your only interest is your son..that his health and happyness comes before your own, that you want his mom to be a valuable part of his life, if you can do this while loading up on all the stuff that happens at her place(heavy documentation)in time the court will have to side with you...My judge started out with everything favoring my X..now everything is shifted to favoring me..but I have worked very very hard at dotting my I's and crossing my T's to get it to this point....
have a buddy do investigative work so you don't get stocking charges and go to family services and express concern and see if someone can be assigned to your sons case so they can check on him, if the local office is not responsive contact the main office in helena and give them the story, also express your concerns to the sheriffs office so there is a file started. jmo

The judge was supposed to rule on the motions today and, surprise, surprise, nothing. I guess he is just going to ignore it and hope it goes away! I will keep bugging the crap out of them until someone helps allow me to keep my boy safe!

Document everything. Get a little notebook and write down everything that goes on. Interactions with her, situations that you witness, phone calls, names of anyone else present, everything. Dates and times. You don't have to write a book on it, just short notations. Don't tell her about it, just do it. In a court of law, this type of information is invaluable. Be honest.

My X and her lawyer delay every single thing..sometimes 3-4 times...even the judge gets sick of it after a while...

Keep up the fight! Your kid is worth it. It's unbelievable how biased our system is towards women. Makes me angry just thinking about it. Heres to a happy ending to your story.
