What do you think of Straight Line Nitrous kits

I can get a Kit for my sled with bottle for $500 brand new in the box. Just wondering if anyone has this kit good or bad. I tryed searching but didnt find anything. thanks

It's the same thing as the Holtzman nitrous kit- I think straightline bought the rights to it...don't quote me though....

i have one on my 900 poo
works great
ez install and good stuff
 
run the there nos kit all last year on a 09 800 dragon worked awsome the only problem that i had was the fuel line, toward the end of the season it blew from the fuel pressure no biggy went to napa got some better fuel injection line and replaced would recomend to any one.
 
I have straightlines kit on my 08 d8. Seems to work good(never had and other nitrous experience) but from what I can tell it works good! It was easy to install, came with great install instructions, its the Holtzman nozzle and Holtzman regulator. Got the kit for about that same price, so far can't complain about it. Phoned straightline for another bottle and some other small parts, great service, fast shipping, I recommend it just for that purpose!!
 
Hello guys can you share some of your nitrous experience with me. I picked up an 07 rev with the holtzman kit on it. I am new to nitrous and alls iv heard is only hit at wot and only hold no longer then 8 seconds.
Could someone give me an experienced overview on how to use the system including maitenance, what to watch for any adjusting. I have everthing else ready on sled for mountains next weekend and i have 2 days off this weekend so i would like to service, check u know make sure it is good to go. I was told it was a 30 shot.
wether it matters sled info is as follows, 07 x 800r, brand new shortblock 100 miles, v-force delta 3 reeds, cudney head, jaws can, flow rites, tpi valves, quick clickers, stiffeners all around cudney clutching set up by speacialty shop. Yes the system has been running on sled, i just havent ran it myself. also it runs on pump gas so im told.

In therory you could hit the button at any throttle position seeing as how it adds fuel at the same time, but why would you want to waste the nitro when you can just squeeze the throttle more and save the nitro for when you really need it. I ran mine all of last year and loved it (pump gas) with no problems other than the fuel line breaking on hte last ride, I have also held it longer than 8 seconds not sure how long but I knowit was lots longer than 8 secs. just be sure and check all connections fuel, nitrous and electrical fill it up and go.
 
thanks, i will check connections, fill and go. do i have to purge it or anything and if so how, sorry it came on sled so i have no instructios or maitenance paperwork to view.

start it and hit the button if the engine RPM rises your good to go, one thing that i would do befor riding is to get ahold of straight line and find out where the fuel valve should be set and verify that is where it is at.

You can hit the button with valve on nos bottle closed to verify that you are getting the extra fuel. Sled should bog while pressing the button with the valve closed.
If it is like holtzman's kit you will be happy with it.
