Ok this thread is only for guys who HAVE the new boondocker 13 rpm setting control box..Naturally Aspirated engines only.

So my question is since that some engine builders are giving numbers in percentage mode with their bigbore and ported pkg and boondocker seem to indicate possibly the fixed mode is maybe better suited..

What are you fella's finding better for your ported bigbore..FIXED or PERCENTAGE mode..?? and im really interested in people using this in the Cat 800s with the sometimes lean midrange but as well would like to know how the other fella's with other sleds are doing with it as well.

I do know what the differences are between the modes and how they react with the injector duty cycle before and after 50 percent, im just looking for what mode people are liking most.

if they do math anything like dobeck did in the variation between percent and fixed adding

the best way to handle lean mid range was ALWAYS fixed fueling , when you have a hole percent based added lots before and after the hole making it rich but then added less in the hole being percentage add based. find the hole, throw a slab of fuel on it. enjoy.

make sense?

yep...boondocker recommends fixed for bigbores with more mods which I have with heavier fueling requirements above 50 percent throttle but I was just kinda curious because I see one ported 925 bigbore pkg with percentage numbers as a base line..

so I was just curious...thanks..
