What parts does it take to put an 800 in an polaris iqr? Also what would be the best 800 motor to drop in ves,non-ves,etc.,etc,.
I just want a reliable motor with descent power for backcountry riding, also it will probably be extended to a 144" eventually.
Thanks for the help:beer;

I have talked with bikeman performance they seem to have a good set up for convertign the 600 motor to a 800. just e-mail Jimmy at sales@bikemanperformance.com and he will give ya the info on cost and what you need to send to them. Not sure if you are looking at this option or not but thought i would throw it out there. :beer;

If you have the 800 to put in you will need a steering post($125+/-) a steeing hoop ($300+/-) a 1 1/2 inch riser to go between the motor straps and the motor, the straps from polaris for that convertion, carb boots. That is what I did with mine and with going that way I did not have to cut the bulk head. it is tight and you will learn alot of new words with this project. If you have any questions feel free to email me bgonyo@yahoo.com and i can try and help with any thing that I can.

PS the risers for the motor I have a set for $150 if you want

i make a motor plate forget the steering hoop and the steering colum just buy the plate for 165.00 and bolt in with a few mods . i also have custom fit crank shop pipes for 800.00 Brad
