I have an '07 Summit X and when playing in the deep pow and I carve hard on the left side the sled will drop down to almost 6000 rpm and it sounds like the track rubs against the tunnel. It only lasts for a second and then is jumps right back up but won't stay steady and the rpms jump around a few hundred rpm. I'm thinking maybe clutches as I can't see anywhere the track is rubbing. Any ideas?

Sounds like snow is getting in between your clutches and your belt pretty common if you take off the belt guard and don't put any mesh in that little "nike swoosh" thing on your left panel.

Mine use to do this all the time until I added the SLP sock to the factory intake and the SLP aftermarket intake. Mine was the air intake plugging up, motor starving for air, dropped RPM and made same type of noises..

Thanks for the responses guys. I was already in the process of putting mesh over that hole in the side panel as that definitely doesn't help having a big hole there. I'll get that intake sock you speak of too.
