What Body Style?

Hello, I'm new here and not up to speed on the different Polaris body styles. I bought a pair of 2009 Polaris 550 Trail Touring DLX snowmobiles that were brand new in the crate. The manual says it has an Edge suspension but is the body style Edge also? The forum title says Edge was from 2002-2005, I really lost here as to what I have. Here's a pic of what I have, any help appreciated. Thank you.

That is the edge chassis. They made the edge chassis through 09 i believe in the touring and utility models. maybe even a little longer.

Thanks. The last sleds I bought were a pair of 1990 340 Sport's so I've been out of the loop for some time.
My wife and I are in our 50's, both of us with bad backs. We go on groomed trails at 20 - 25 MPH. In an attempt to soften the suspension on these 2009 Touring sleds, I bought a wrench to loosen the nuts that compress the springs that are over the shocks on the front end. The manual says this will lessen the amount of ski pressure, do I have to shorten the front strap on the back suspension to compensate for this?

It depends on how far you loosen the front shocks. The touring sleds im sure you have to soften up the suspension riding with only one person because they are made for hauling around 2 all the time.
