What are you paying for Insurance?

So my sled isn't financed but wanted to put full coverage (fire, theft, collision) in it in the event I get some major damage. I was quite surprised, to hear it was going to be $800 a year... a little steep. Just wondering what others are paying and if I should be shopping around a bit.

$21 a month in the winter and $4 a month in the summer. USAA allows you to put seasonal things in "storage" to save money

Just went and verified. $251/yr full everything. $500 deductible. 2013 Pro-RMK 163". State Farm. Been with them over 15 years.

$676 per year for a 2013 Pro RMK and 08 Dragon, from Foremost Insurance. with $500 deductible.

Good Thread, I am interested as well to see what people are paying.

Well soundsl like a call to my insurance borker is in order as I'm getting a$$ raped! Mine is through Intact with my auto policies but looks like I'll be changing that soon. I'm up in Alberta Canada so input from other Canucks appreciated but good to hear from you boys down south as well. If you don't mind list who your with as well, see if we can find what insurance company gives the best deal on sleds.

I'm in Alberta and u have a 2012 800 switchback, 2011 600 switchback full coverage through AMA for $610 a year

$312 per year for full coverage on a 10' Polaris assault 800, and an 05' Doo Gade 800... with a $500 deductible. Thats thru Badger Mutual Insurance and it's listed/covered on my homeowners insurance.

Granted i have my house, and two vehicles with them as well so im sure it helps with the price a little bit.

Other things factor into insurance premiums such as, driving record and credit rating also. Try Progressive, and AAA.
I think we are around $500/year for two 800 Pros. $99/year for my 2012 Polaris Sportsman 500. (ATV):wine:

$325 a year with $1000 deductable Farm Bureau Insurance.
(Car/Truck/Sled/Harleys/Trailers...so this is a multi type deal)

:present:

my agent tryed to put my 08 600 RMK & 12 600 RMK on progressive but they wanted $1365.00 Agent will no longer insure anyone with progressive !
went to American Family got both insured plus my
2010 sportsman 550 X2 ATV for $ 597.00 w/ $250 Deduct

I have all my insurance through Farmers Insurance Exchange. Their sister company for ATV's, snowmobiles, etc is Foremost Insurance. For a 2012 Pro RMK 600, a 2012 RMK 600 ES, a 2008 Dragon 700 RMK, a 2007 Dragon RMK, a 2002 RMK and two older 340's (the trail and the 340's are liability only) I pay $847 a year with a $500 deductible.

For liability only on all 7 sleds, it's $240 a year.

$246 full coverage through American Family on my '11 RMK Assault, $500 deductible.

I'm 25 with a clean driving record and it's the only thing I have insured through them.

FWIW, I was quoted $300+ through Progressive and $500 from the "local agent" I have my pickup and renters insurance through.

$156 a year for full coverage on my '13 Pro-RMK 800 through Mutual of Enumclaw. $250 deductable. Great company. Never had any problems. You're getting taken bad for $800. Ouch!:face-icon-small-sho
