What are you guys using for jackets?

FXR Vertical Jacket. Puts Klim to shame.

Easy there killer. FXR does make some good gear, but NOTHING puts Klim to shame. This is coming from a former Klim hater, their stuff is extremely well made, durable, and holds its water/weather proofing for years. FXR in my experience can not say that, however I dont have any experience with their Vertical Jacket and hope it works. Especially if they are wanting over $330 for a non-goretex coat.

Klim. That being said I also have a military issue gore-tex jacket that I wear riding almost all the time now. You can find these at local army surplus stores and pawn shops etc. for cheap. I just bought 2 for some friends got them for $25 a piece.

Under $300 US made with Tetratex which is exactly the SAME as Goretex made by the same co Dupont by the Donaldson corp. 5 year warranty.

Finally retired my old goretex shell and went for the Klim Valdez. No regrets its an awsome product and has plenty of ventilation for upcoming spring riding.it also kept me warm and toasty in -23C weather

ToBe is shutting down and Josh has some excellent deals on his remaining stock. You won't find a better guy to deal with. I've been using this gear since he started carrying it in N.America and I can say you won't be disappointed.

I would be all over the ToBe gear. Mine has held up great. It's a shame those guys let Josh down. You won't find anything even close to the quality for the prices he's blowing his remaining inventory out at.

Ya i dont wear a big brand name jacket but some generic brand but its a big one i usually wear it from -20 to -60 out with just a t-shirt but i also where a bib. that may not be much help to you cause i dont know the name of it had it for about 6 years and all the zipper tages are ripped off with the names on it. Only had one zipper issue but it was like it when i bought it and they replaced it cause there was a 1 year warrenty. Its a good jacket for in Labrador though may not be what you lookin for. I was wondering thoug if anyone has tried a HMK tech Jacket I bouht a large one and had to send it bac do to it being to small and thinking of getting a x large casue when it gets nice out and the snow starts to melt i still like to sled but my normal coat is to warm. I only like wearing one thing casue if i need to change then i aint far from home to go and swap 5 min drive outside of town and you can have many places to go. so ya has anyone tried it i want something wind and water proof but with a little liner caue just a shell isnt warm enough. Hands down the preditor pullover looks sweet though. any advice let me know
