what are we going to do?

????

What could possibly break that we only have to go through ADB for. There's enough knowledge out there, I think we'll be allright.

I mean everthing I buy come's from Les in SD or Duane at LaMoines motorsports in MI. lol

We're good !

No worry ! I talked to Luc Babin, service guy at ADB the other day and he told me they've got parts for the next 15 years !!!

The only problem is their retail price ! I should try going through a dealer instead of dealing direct... I may get better prices...

0 were produced for 2009, adb put all there time into the explorer. My hope ( and I think there's ) is that people will get an explorer and want more so then will step up to a hawk and when demand presents itself will go back into production with the Hawk. The problem with that plan is opportunity never presents itself they have to make it happen with a proper marketing plan and that has been there downfall all along. You will never convert enough sledders to a hawk and make it a viable product. Market the right people and then it could take off.

parts

skip had a frame side and front steering bar plate built in Missoula mt. what can be harder than that?I have a guythat wants to build a frame out of aircraft tubing for me. Bud

I checked out that bike

I guess the only benefit is that when the bike burns out you can toss the whole thing and not worry that you just spent a ton of money.
Again its nice that people are lookin into the snow bikes, but you will still run into the same problems when you come to riding.
But I support it because we need those dirt and street riders into the sport.
We are hoping to get AD Boivin to come to Hawkfest to really drive home the fact that the market is growing for his product for the first time in years.
Passionate riders have been creating riding groups all over the US for the last four years. This is what we set out to do when we first started talking with them back in 2004. Things just take a while.
My hope is that they sell enough of the Explorer to help fund the next generation of the Snow Hawk. Since we have created a market for the machine if they could get it back down to $12,000 it would be markable. Because why would you buy a $3,000 kit and wreck your bike which would run you upwards of $7,000 if you could buy a complete package that would just rock your world.
So if anyone is interested in contacting Denis Boivin and letting him know how passionate you are about the Snow Hawk and how much you want to see a lineup for next season shoot me a pm and I'll give you his and others emails at Boivin so you can share your passion.

The Yamaha Straddle

Makes more sense because just like the Hawk the machine was designed as a complete package and it helps work the kinks out of it.
A full product design always works better.
