I got a used Remington 700 22-250 off SW last year and I'm looking for some advise on a scope and some loads.

i have a luepold 6.5-20 var x3 on a on a rem ssf 700 22-250 i load 43 grain v-max around 3950 f/s. awsome set up

Has anyone tried the leupold varmint repticle??? Looks like a sweet scope. Right now I have a mint Monarch Nikon 12 power but I need a little more power so I am going to sell this scope and go for a good long range scope.

One of the better sites that I visit regularly is:http://www.rugerhunting.com/forum/. This site is pretty much dedicated to the .204 (I have a Cooper in the .204), but it has alot of good info on reloading, optics, and has a pretty good swap meet. varminthunters.com is the best for pure, dedicated varmint hunting. Been on there since '97 myself...world record holder for 600 yard BR is a regular there...you wanna know how to shoot long range, ask James.
