What are guys running for air intake setups for mototrax

Hi new to snowbiking and just trying to figure out what setup is should run on my fc450 mototrax kits didn't come with air intake

Air box

Get it on the snow to see what happens. A prefilter over the foam filter is a good place to start. It is all relative to the amount of snow the air box ingests. Don't worry about it, as long as the stock airbox clears the track and bike adapter, without modification.

I'm not sure I'd run the filter, I didn't ever run mine. I've heard they can freeze up with condensation. I just run the prefilter over my air filter cage. Stock air box and prefilter siliconed over the side holes in the number plates.

I chose to run a dry filter with pre-filter material over the air box intake holes in the number plates. So far, no snow build up or icing issues.

NO FOAM! In the right conditions that foam will turn into an ice brick, or worse, fill with water. Then your bike will run pig rich and you'll fuel the hell out of your oil. Ditch the foam and just run a prefilter over the stock cage. You do not need or want foam!
